I was down a couple of buy-ins tonight but managed to win my way back to just above even. Then I found KK in early position and made my standard 3x raise.
There were two callers and, when the flop came 868 rainbow, I felt good enough to open for half the pot. I got one caller.
The turn was a Queen so I pushed on and vet again. He raised… enough to make me stop and think. There were two clubs on the board so I re/raised all-in, hoping he’d fold.
He didn’t; he had A8 and I was done.
I like the way I played the hand. It just didn’t go my way. Blech.
